Establishing benchmark practices are an important

Bartlett Merton - the 6th largest UK recruitment advertising agency - to design
and conduct research into the business advantages of diversity management
for recruitment & resourcing.
- The specific interest is in diversity as a tool in meeting recruitment and resourcing
strategies.
- The scope of 'diversity' in this research is the wider definition, beyond race/gender/disability.
- The report will provide current practical information on market attitudes &
practices regarding diversity management.
Initial summary results were presented at the CIPD conference in October 2000, and the
full report published in spring 2001.

The RealDifference
Project:
A major research project in March 2000
with two key
outputs. Firstly determining objectively what differentiates corporate stayers and
leavers in terms of values and motivation, according to variables including age, gender
and professional function. Secondly it provided participant companies with a critical
assessment of the impact, significance and effectiveness of company practices in resourcing
and retaining professional and managerial staff, through a life-values lens. The
survey process was managed in conjunction with

Religion
and Belief in the Workplace:
A report into the facts and data regarding
employer obligations and good practice, in responding to diverse religious needs
in the UK workplace. May 1999.
During 2002 Kingshill
carried out comprehensive client-commissioned research into British religions
and cultural differences. The result was an easy to use booklet for line
managers.

Researched and written by Kingshill, this acclaimed

A reference tool
